Last Sunday we went to Skagit flats with Bruce and Deb; Bruce took along his scope to bird watch and we spotted lots of bald eagles, egrets, chickadees and swans. For all those sceptics out there like YOU Derek – yes Dave was birdwatching. The city boy is chilling out would you believe but we are not yet wearing matching fleeces – thank god. It is also a big hunting area with people coming here to duck shoot.
Irony is not lost as the ‘no handguns’ signs are shown riddled with bullet holes.
