Hi, I’m Leza. I’m English but currently living in New York. I started this blog in 2007 when my husband and I quit our jobs in London and went backpacking for 15 months. Since then a lot of people have asked me for travel ideas and advice…so I’ve decided to make my blog public in the hope that it can help people with their own travel planning. I’ve been a contributor to Trip Advisor for many years and have found other traveller’s advice to be invaluable. I spent 18 months living in East Africa in Uganda, out in the remote West Nile region and then in Kampala. I have visited 55 countries; back-packed, flash-packed and got married to my Englishman way out in the Ugandan Bush. I want to share my travel experiences and the great cultural riches that travelling delivers. From beach huts, boutique hotels to 5 star. Incredible capital cities to jungle. UNESCO World Heritage Sites to quirky alternative world wonders. I’ve seen jaw-dropping palaces in Rajasthan, heard the groaning of glaciers in Argentina and met the Viet Cong in Vietnam. If I can help anyone to see more of this great planet we live on… then this blog has been worth it.
